Introduction:

BSP is one of the leaders in the most technologically advanced prosthetics available to the common household and to the dedicated fighter. The company originally started in the warehouse district of Seyaria city to the once exile of Lu'ryl known as Vor'shalla. She was exiled due to tampering with magic the people considered unsafe, soul magic. However, her crimes in use were considered more beneficial so she was instead sent away rather than jailed. Since then, Vor'shalla has shown the benefit of soul magic but creating the first soulbound prosthetic in the year 16 of the Age of Growth (approx. 217 years from 79 A.I.) when she was just 20 years of age. By the time she was 22, she had made prototypes for eyes and ears though a more publicly available product wouldn't be found until she was almost 40. She was sponsored by the famous construct Arvosi Hannath. Soon, Lu'ryl removed her exile, restoring her name which she refused, and offered her funding to support her new line of work, creating the Broken Shadow Prosthetics which has grown in production to over thirty skilled prosthetic makers. Of these, all speak well of Vor'shalla who is either working on the prosthetics needed or designing the future of helping hands.

 

Products:

The main line of products offered by BSP are limb prosthetics, typically arms, legs, hands, feet, and ears. These basic products restore almost exact feeling of having the limb, dealing with most issues of ghost pains on top of creating a familiar use of the limb. While commercially available, these prosthetics are typically more than most can afford, but can come in payment plans or can even be loaned. However, they also offer a line of fully combat ready limbs with interchangeable parts like a wrist gun, taser, flamethrower, rocket elbow/knee, and more. These modifications increase the price dramatically, but many wounded adventurers often say the quality makes up for the cost.

Lastly, Broken Shadow Prosthetics offers lines of specialized prosthetics for speech, sight, and custom limbs (such as wings, antennae, and similar). These products run the most and are typically hand crafted by Vor'shalla herself due to the difficult intricacies required in planning and designing such custom models.

Besides their headquarters within Torr'ryl, BSP is often one of the top rated brands within newspapers, by doctors, or by adventuring guilds. While the competitors may be cheaper, the quality one gets for the price make them a favorite. They have small fitting stations in most major city hospitals and a rather detailed questionnaire to ensure the product fits not only the limb but also the use.
